Who we are
Crescent Discovery Series is published by Crescent Bioresearch, 1060 Broadway #1025, Albany, New York 12204. This site is an editorial publication about peer-reviewed scientific discoveries. It does not sell anything, and it does not collect information beyond what is described on this page. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@crescentbioresearch.com.
What this site collects
When a page is requested, the server that delivers it records the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and the browser type. These server logs are used to keep the site running and to understand which stories are read. They are kept for no longer than 90 days and are not combined with any other data about a visitor.
What stays on your device
Features such as the reading shelf, saved filters and reading position are stored in your browser's local storage. That information never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Fonts and third parties
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google and Google receives the technical details of that request, as described in Google's own privacy policy. No advertising networks, analytics trackers or social media pixels are embedded in this site.
If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer it and to maintain a record of the exchange. If a newsletter is offered in future, it will be opt-in only, every message will carry an unsubscribe link, and the address will be used for nothing else.
Links to other sites
Stories link to the journals and institutions that published the original research, and the footer links to the Crescent Bioresearch catalog site. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Because this site holds almost nothing, most such requests can be answered immediately. Write to support@crescentbioresearch.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with the date of revision at the top of the page. This version was published on 6 October 2026, replacing the version of 3 October 2026 (the publisher’s street address was added).
