Who publishes this site
The Crescent Discovery Series is published by Crescent Bioresearch, 1060 Broadway #1025, Albany, New York 12204. The series is an editorial publication. It reports peer-reviewed scientific discoveries and the questions that follow from them. By reading the site a visitor accepts these terms.
What the series is, and is not
Every story summarises published research and names the journal, the institution and the authors behind it. The series does not give medical, dietary or legal advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to take, stop or change any treatment. A reader who has a question about their own health should put it to a qualified practitioner. Crescent Bioresearch supplies laboratory compounds for in-vitro research only. Nothing in the series is a claim about an effect of any such compound in a person or an animal.
Accuracy
Stories are written from the primary paper and from the publishing institution’s own release, and each one lists its sources. Science moves. A result reported here may be refined, extended or contradicted by later work, and the series corrects a story when a reader or a later paper shows an error in it. Corrections are made in the story itself with the date of the change. Where a figure comes from a press release rather than the paper, the story says so.
Using the material
The text, design and logo of the series belong to Crescent Bioresearch. A reader may quote a story briefly with a link back to it, share a story by its address, and print a copy for personal study. Republishing a story in full, or using the series name or logo to suggest an endorsement, requires written permission from support@crescentbioresearch.com. Photographs are used under licence from their owners and may not be lifted from the site.
Questions sent to the series
Readers may send a topic or a question through the Instagram link on the site. By doing so the reader allows the series to answer the question in a future story without naming the reader. Questions that ask for medical advice about a specific person are not answered.
Links to other sites
Stories link to journals, universities and institutes, and the footer links to the Crescent Bioresearch catalog site. Those sites have their own terms and policies, which the series does not control and does not endorse by linking.
Availability
The series is provided as it is. Crescent Bioresearch aims to keep the site available and accurate but does not guarantee either, and is not liable for a loss that follows from reliance on a story or from an interruption of the site. Features that store a reading list or a reading position are kept in the reader’s own browser and may be cleared by the reader at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. A dispute that cannot be settled by correspondence is heard in the state or federal courts sitting in Albany County, New York.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with the date of revision at the top of the page. This version was published on 6 October 2026.
